Muskoka’s heritage register that are at risk because of Bill 23. Schedule 6 of the Bill 23, THE MORE HOMES BUILT FASTER ACT, contains many provisions that will make it much more difficult to protect Ontario’s heritage properties. Listing, a tool used by most municipalities with heritage registers, will be curtailed by requiring that listed buildings are either designated under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act in two years or they must be dropped from the Register for at least five years.
