Notes:
The present church building dates opened in 1897 as Huntsville Methodist Church, and became Trinity United Church in 1925, following Church Union. Prior to this building there had been services since 1869.

Trinity United Church is a two storey, rectangular, red brick construction with a steep pitch gable roof, overhanging eaves, and a coursed stone foundation. There is a square tower on the southwest corner of the structure with a steep pitched hip roof, hipped caps topping the posts on the four corners of the tower, arched openings filled with wood shutters and a continuous stone lug sill, smaller and thinner arched windows with a continuous stone lug sill beneath the venting arches, a single small arched window with stone lug sill on the west elevation, and a double door entrance with arched transom on the south elevation. The north and south elevations of the main structure consist of tall arched windows with stone lug sills, buttresses, and rectangular windows in the basement storey. The west elevation of the main structure contains four arched windows with a continuous stone lug sill, brick voussoirs and a quatrefoil on the second storey, flat-headed windows with continuous stone lug sills and voussoirs on the first storey, and flat-headed windows with stone lug sills and brick voussoirs in the basement storey. On the north west corner of the main strucuture is a one storey, steep pitched gable addition with a coursed stone foundation, a single door entrance on the west elevation with sidelights and an arched transom, and a single arched window with a brick voussoir and a stone lug sill just above the entrance. There are three additions to the east elevation. The first is a two storey, red brick addition to the north east corner with a low pitch gabled roof and rectangular windows. The second is a red brick addition to the southeast corner with a flat roof, a red brick chimney, and rectangular windows. The final addition is to the rear of and connecting to the other two additions. It is a red brick construction with a flat roof, metal sheeting just below the roofline, a concrete foundation, and a verandah on the south elevation.
